I review a Christian Post article that tries to join both security of the believer with the fear of “warnings ” that the believer should “persevere.” Then we look at the passage of scripture in that article that people use to “prove” that the believer can lose their salvation, which is Hebrews 6:4-6. I seek to prove that Hebrews 6:4-6 is NOT a verse that is to be taken to mean that salvation can be lost. It is instead a verse that teaches that if you believe salvation can be lost, you are putting Jesus Christ to an open shame! Hebrews 6:4-6 actually teaches that it is impossible for a believer to get saved over and over again. One time is enough to cover past, present, and future sins!
